Hi, Nils.

I heard back from my Solaris guru, who has failed to get anywhere with
RULI.  He's come to the same conclusion as you - that RULI doesn't port
well and to get it compile on Solaris would be non-trivial.  He did
identify another DNS resolver which would do SRV lookups that doesn't
rely on IPv6 and, hence, might be more portable (as you mentioned
supporting another resolve earlier):

Thanks for your assistance, anyway.  I guess unless I can find a linux
box, I will have to make do without the SRV support until the landscape
shifts!
