I never tried it on Solaris. Currently I do not have access to any Solaris 
box. But I was also not successfull in compiling libruli on MacOSX. So it 
seems that ruli is not very portable :-(

Unfortunately the portability of the SRV lib was not the major criteria during 
my election. But I would be willing to support other DNS SRV libs as well, as 
long as the lib interface is not to complex :-)
